Fighting Coronavirus

I hope you all are doing fine. Don’t travel unless it is emergency. Wear mask while going outside.Wash your hands carefully. Don’t touch your hands on face,eyes etc. After all, being safe matters the most. If you are experiencing symptoms such as fever or breathing problems,please go to nearby doctor asap .
Check with official website of your country for any updates.Also check WHO’s page for guidelines.

The real god these days is in the doctors,polices, farmers and all those who are involved in fighting against this decease.They don’t care about life and they are working so hard these days. Among all these,yet some people beating cops. How disgusting the situation really is!!!!!

Someone traveled hundreds of kilometres but unfortunately died thereafter. Someone died in mid-way.Someone isn’t getting proper food and shelter.Economy is facing very difficult situation.Almost all the businesses are down.The situation has also affected the share market.

But in the end, there is always hope.This situation will change.We will get rid of Coronavirus. In fact, vaccines are already in testing phase according to news.Economy will rise again…Until then have patience… keep enjoying your life.

Solo Travel On My Birthday!!!

This was my first travel after lock-down. So was not possible to visit far distance place. I was quite bored by work from home. So I decided to visit some place near home town on the occasion of birthday.

Day started at early in morning by visiting Temple. I visited Ganesha Temple which is in home town. Then I had breakfast at home and some phone calls with friends. They were wishing me on my birthday. After that I did some personal works and got free as early as possible because I had already planned to visit some Place.

After all works, I started journey towards mountain near my home town which is 10 km far from my home but it is not in city. I wanted some peace on my birthday.

I traveled 10 km on bike alone.Now I was at base of mountain. There were two options to get on the top of the mountain. One is by walk and another is on bike.

I was already late. So I decided to choose second option as bike. The road was tough and rough. It was difficult to drive on off road. I had some difficulties on sharp turns but I slowed my bike and tried to get over it. As I traveled some distance, I got an awesome view. There was one lake which at base of mountain. There is no one on mountain apart from me and my bike.

Now I was at top of the mountain. I parked my bike at one side and did site seeing. It was awesome birthday for me. I had never traveled alone before this. There was sound of birds and also saw peacock. I had never seen peacock before it. I spent some time over mountain. I had brought my headphone with me. I had heard some favorite song from my list. I was so happy with on that movement. It was indeed my special day.

After spending some time I started my return journey to my home. I returned home with some memories and fresh mind. That was helpful for next few days.

First time to Delhi

From Chandigarh we started our journey to Himachalpradesh. Journey was good. But the road was tough. Our driver was well trained to drive over these roads. There was two way road but not wide enough to overtake easily. In Himachalpradesh ,we visited Kasauli hill station that was awesome. We didn’t have permission to spend more time over there. At 5 o’clock we reached to Kasauli. There were different type of trees .It was first time to see them. Before that I saw it only in books. We decided to visit sunset point that was quite far from bus stop. We travelled by walk. First we visited church which was in our way. Then we reached to sunset point and that place was on height and that view was awesome. We took some photos and started return journey to bus stop. We did shopping and had discussion with local people (shop owner). I found that there was no specific language over there. Language varies from place to place.They call it as pahadi language. One hill has one language and another have another language. But people in Kasauli can easily speak Hindi language. Houses has different structures.

Then we started journey to Delhi which is capital of INDIA. I was damm excited to visit red fort.We travelled overnight on national highway. Journey was awesome. At morning 6 am we reached to Delhi. And we were thankful for driver for driving whole night.Delhi is metro city and busy city.We got traffic at 6 o’clock in morning from that we got to know Delhi never sleep. We had some rest in hotel. This was the last stop of journey. After breakfast we started travelling to red fort. Our teacher gave some option that you should go shopping or visit red fort. I selected second one. First we needed to purchase passes to visit fort and we passed though security check and entered into fort. There were two big main gate placed for security purpose. Then there was big straight crowded road. Many shopping stall were there besides the road. We passed through it. Then we visited museum. It contains lot of weapons from ancient time over there as this was capital from ancient time. Museum contains weapons from ancient time to modern weapons. After that we visited hall where throne of king was which preserved and had security of glass. Then we visited two halls one was of king and another one was queen. It required more than 2 hours seeing all part of fort. I was quite happy by visiting this place. Then we returned in bus instead of Chandni Chowk which was famous for shopping . We purchased some sweet from there which called Petha.

We reached to hotel, had lunch and had some rest then started journey towards Akshardham temple. Temple was awesome but has restriction for camera and phone so unable to capture photos. There was some crowd. Temple was big and besides temple there were metro station. Then we started journey towards India gate. Place was awesome but was crowded we took some photos over there. India gate have historical importance. Name of soldiers are written over India gate there were Amar jyot and had security of Indian army. Then we returned to hotel. We had some dance on DJ in hotel. DJ was good. It was last night of trip. We had dinner and had some rest and at mid night we started our returne journey towards our home. We traveled two days in train and enjoyed cards games and next day morning we reached to home. Father was waiting for me on station. It was awesome experience and good time with friends. Almost part of north India was covered in 10 days.

Vacation at Chandigarh

We Started journey towards Chandigarhfrom Punjab. In mid of journey we had lunch at dhabha. Food was awesome. Same day night we reached to Chandigarh.

Next Day morning, we visited to Rose garden. Garden had different types of roses and flowers. Garden was big it take around 2 to 3 hours to see garden. At end of garden there were Whistle tree that make music on wind flow. Sound was awesome .after some time we got tired and we return to our vehicle. Also we took some photographs over there.

Then we started journey to Rock garden. Garden name itself describes what will be inside. This garden is also big. Take more time to visit all sites. At start there is narrow entrance after that there were different types of Rocks in different colors. We started exploring Garden after some distance there were Water fall after that there is big wall with rock then some magic mirrors are there.

They shows different views of you also there were different kind of fish tanks. Then we saw many big jhula. We started enjoy jhula but it was late our group was waiting for us. After that we went to hotel had lunch and some rest in afternoon we has visit Sukhana Lake. That was awesome lake and peaceful place. We visited at night. at side lake there was track to walk for people. In day Time Lake is opened for boating.

In mid journey we did some shopping for our family. we moved to hotel DJ was waiting for us. We had some dance steps over floor. And had dinner and had rest. On next day we has to start journey to Himachal Pradesh. I will describe further journey in next blog. Thank you for reading blog.

Punjab Diaries

Started journey towards Mumbai from Pune. There were two buses and total students around 75 .As bus passed some distance from college,we started to dance in bus. After some distance we had stop on petrol pump and then direct to Mumbai railway station. We were still dancing in bus. It was first time to visit Mumbai. We had some time for train so our group had dinner and we purchased playing cards to spend time in train.
Now we were in train started journey towards Punjab. In our group there were 4 people we started playing cards.

Some girls from Mumbai joined us in playing cards. Now our group had more people. On next day we played cards for whole day and on 3 rd day morning we reached to Punjab. At Punjab station,2 buses were waiting for us.We started journey in bus by traveling 30 min we had our first trip spot was Jallianwala Bagh.

This garden have historical importance in British rule. We can get info of Jallianwala Bagh on Google easily. There was narrow entry to Bagh. hardly 3 people can pass through that narrow entry at one time. This is the only entry for this Bagh. Soldier entered through that entrance and blocked the road.Fired bullets on people which were present for sabha.
That sabha was related to India freedom. Many people died in this incidence.
I was in shocked by sawing that narrow entrance.

Then we moved inside. On left side there was Martyrs’ well. People jumped in that Well . From this well 120 people removed after that incidence. After passing some distance there were wall. Wall have bullets marks. It is preserved by Indian government
there was Amar Jyot on right side of entrance. After this spot we moved to hotel. We were tired by travel. We had some fun in hotel play some games after lunch. Then we had travel to Wagha border. Wagha border is between INDIA and PAKISTAN. Beating Retreat Ceremony was for 45 minutes. Soldiers from both side came in front of each Tother and challenged each other. But that was scripted. that time stadium was under construction. So did not got seat. We stand in front of GATE. After ceremony army allows us to click some photographs. We took photo near to main Gate and some with soldiers. India crowd was more as compared to Pakistan. So we enjoyed this ceremony with different slogans.

After ceremony we moved to hotel. DJ was waiting for us. We had some dance step on local songs. We requested to play songs of our choice. After DJ we had Dinner.On next day ,after breakfast,we moved towards Golden Temple. We had enjoyed horse cart ride for some distance. Golden temple had awesome view from main entrance. Main temple was in center so we have to walk around the temple. Temple was white. It surrounded by water. Water had some fish in it. Temple was clean. We got blessed at temple and moved to hotel .After lunch we had to move next on journey.

Trek to Lohgad Fort

We were two folks ready for some adventure. Started journey early in morning. Had local train up to Malavali station then we had to walk up to 8 km.

We started walking. Some local people asked for paid ride. But already decided to complete this trek by walk only. Started walking and reached to Bhajet village. We had breakfast. That was early morning so in breakfast we got only biscuit and tea. That was enough for us. Then we moved on next journey. Some groups were with us. Now we were at first destination at Bhajet caves and waterfall. We had some time over there. We clicked some moments there.

Then we walked continuously for 4 km. Road was quit easy for trek when started journey. We faced elevation road for some 3 km. There were one option road which passes through jungle. We decided to take jungle option. But no one was there apart from two. After passing some distance we got main road of our journey. Now road was quite busy. We took some time rest and had some water and lemon tea.

After some time started journey .We were about to reach to destination. The left side of road have Visapur fort and another side Lohgad is there. The view was awesome. We passed through that view and moved to to our destination.Reached at base of fort. Now it was 10 am we were tired by traveling 8 km we decided to take rest. We purchased some food and water bottles and started trekking over fort.

Fort have steps so it was easy to climb to fort , within 1 hour reached to top of fort. Fort condition was quite good as compared to others fort visited till. Now crowd was more. Few of them choose walking option from station to fort.Because it was difficult and also we had to trek. Some foreigners also there. They completed their journey without pause. They were good in health and trekking.

By walking over steps for one hour we reached to top of the fort. We took pause. We breath fresh air. Atmosphere was quite good.and those days was good. Now Visapur fort was in front of us. Both are on same height.Then we started site seeing over fort. The fort has more surface area. by walking one km we reached mid of the fort. Flowers were all over on fort in different color.Most of them were yellow.We took some photographs and moved to our last destination Vinchu kada.

For this point,we had to step down and normal walk for half km and It was final point of fort. There was less crowd over there. Some people also don’t know this point and how to reach over there.Finally we reached final destination named Vinchukada . We took some photos over there. Place have cold air , some heat, cloud were in front of us and peace.We seat over there in relax. I forgot all problems and worries.

I just loved this place what kind of piece I did not experience any where till. I could able to saw farmers working in there farm. Tractor and cars were moving over road. It look like tiny car from top.We sat over half hour and had lunch over there. We took some photographs and started to return based journey.

Best part of this trek was had some peace at vinchu kada. I became relaxed for some time by sawing awesome view. We reached to based village.We had some food and started journey towards station.Now we took auto rickshaw and reached to station and with local reached to our home.

Best time to visit : September , October and winter season to saw flowers

Raireshwar Temple

Our trekking group decided to visit Raireshwar temple. We decided to start the journey in morning 6 AM from pune. It is 90-100 km away from Pune. On trek day, as usual we started our journey late at 7am.There were total 6 people on 3 bikes. We all friends met after long time. Our first stop was at one Dhaba for breakfast. At Dhaba , we had discussion among us and took some parcel food for our further journey.

We moved to our destination. It was weekend, after travelling some distance we had faced heavy traffic near toll plaza. We went through it. Main highway was over. Now,we had to travel over village road for further journey. Now we were at Bhor village and rain started heavily. On the way we saw one river which was full of water. We took stop and had some clicks and moved forward. After travelling some distance around 10 km ,we were at necklace point. We decided to stop over there. It was a great view over there. Previously I saw it many times in TV and friends photos. Now it was in front of me. It was a happy moment for me and it was a surprise for me.

We took photos and moved to next journey. Now we were going late as our plan so decided not to stop until the final destination. After travelling for around 1 hour we were at base village of Raireshwar.Now rain was heavy. Farmers were busy in farming. Farmer helped to find our way. It was heavy rain so unable to get mobile out of bag. After traveling 10 km through gorge we were at base. We parked bikes and started trekking.Now we were at some height. Wind was blowing very fast and it was raining continuously .So it was not easy to walk but we had trek in this atmosphere. It was too cold. And we started trek on raw road after travelling some distance.

There was difficult point. We had to cross that point. There was vale at one side and another side covert by mountain. It was hard to step forward. We crossed it slowly and we were at top of fort. But still temple was far from us. At top of fort there was fog everywhere. And we were only 6 people traveling through forest on fort. The rain stopped for some time. We took some photos and moved to temple. Now it was noon we all were hungry. We had lunch in school of Raireshwar. After that we were blessed at Raireshwar temple. Temple has historical importance. The temple is very old and stone structure. Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaj took oath of Swarajya in this temple. There were large portrait image of maharaj with Shivling

After we had discussion with other trekkers they asked to visit to Pandav caves which are near over there. But road was difficult. We travelled some distance through local people colony. They suggest us to don’t go there you don’t find caves. But we decided to visit caves. After travelling some distance we got know it was difficult to walk through farm. So we moved back to temple. Had some rest and started our return journey.

It was heavy rain in over day. At 6pm we were at base of temple. We had to travel to back home around 90-100 km on bike and it was too late and start our return journey. Took one stop at Bhor and had some breakfast. At hotel we check our bags my mobile got wet and unable to switch on. Then I decided to start it at home only. And we started our further journey. At 10 pm we reached at home. I had checked mobile and it was working. So I was quite happy and it was happy ending of this visit.

Best time to visit – In monsoon season. (August to October) Total cost around 500 from Pune (including all things).

You must take a guide if wish to visit to Pandav caves. Request to donate some funds to temple trust if possible.

Fireflies Festival

It was a great experience to see fireflies in forest. We had started journey at noon. We were 3 people and one was going to join in mid of journey. One of member from us was driver for our car and we two were doing some stuff like listening songs, discussion, our next plan.

After travelling 90 minutes remaining one member joined us. We met after long time so we were happy and we had some breakfast and started further journey.
We were going second time in Sahyadri. The first experience was thriller and adventurous .I will definitely share that one in next post.
We had started our journey from Alephata now all member were present in car .By travelling 2 hours we reached Randha water fall.
We were going first time for this water fall.The crowd was less. So sowe got some peace .We had some group photos saw site and moved to next journey. After travelling half hour we were at our destination Bhandardara dam.
We visited in summer so water level is low in dam so we were able to saw only Umbrella water fall. Now we got more crowd in dam area. After taking fresh breath in water fall ,we moved to based village Shendi. At 7-8 we had dinner
and booked hotel around 1200 Rs for single night.

Now it was dark night and we were excited to watch fireflies.We started journey to forest after travelling some distance got disappointed due to traffic made by tourist and I was also one of them and feel bad. Then we paid tax to local around 100 RS per car then moved to fireflies area. First we saw 5-6 fireflies. It was very dark night so easily visible. After travelling some distance, we saw one tree which was full of fireflies.It was awesome view everyone should have experience once in their life. Fireflies shows one kind of rhyme or kind of sequence , top of fireflies flashes first then lower and In this way follow to low it look like diwali lighting. But it was light color in dark night. So many people gathered there and started making noise we asked them to stop and lastly we moved forward . Now we were more excited.Me and one friend was stand outside through window. We had awesome view in forest. Then we had discussion with local guy. He asked us to follow him to get more awesome and peaceful view.We started following him but he did not stop for next 5-6 km we got some doubts about him. But finally he stopped at one place that was far from where we started. But the place was very peaceful and had great view. Then we came to know he is loyal. We had some discussion on his family, our place, local problem. And we got to know that they had many problems like education, development, food etc. Then we sat on road saw fireflies from very near .Some fireflies sat on our body also. We had shooted some videos and at 11:30 we started return journey to our hotel now we need to travel near about 15 km. Finally we reached and had rest.

In morning we woke up at 7 clocks. Hotel room was good. It had TV. Had some songs on loud sound, had some dance step. After packing and all we left hotel 9:30 clock. We had breakfast Misal from local road side hotel, had some discussion with senior citizen. Most of them retired from dam service. They were government servant. They asked us to visit dam wall which was near about 10-15 min. Finally after one day we saw empty dam. We got know exact depth of dam but still some water left in dam. We had some pictures and we decided to stay for some time. It was peaceful noon. There were no one expect us. I liked it most we sat on tree (not much height) just kept quiet and experience peace.

Then we left this place with full of memories and started our return journey to sweet home. In the middle of journey had lunch and had some rest to driver. Approximately we reached to home at 6 pm.

Visit Bhandara dam in end of summer or first week of June before rain start to watch fireflies. We had total cost around 2000 per head including all things. Do not travel in night if you don’t know proper path. This area has poor internet .So Google map will not going to work. Travel in day is safe for us. Have full of petrol in vehicle. Petrol pump are less.

Blessed at Mata Vaishno Devi

I was quite excited for my first flight experience. I was the only one who going to travel first flight in group and got window seat.

We had taken a direct flight from Pune to Jammu.Then from jammu,it was a road journey of 2 hours. We arrived at Katra at 10:30 am. Having rest for a couple of hours, we moved towards Vaishnodevi.

Total journey is 14 km up to Bhavan and 3 km for Bhairavnath temple. I had completed journey by walking only.
From the base at Katra, we started the awesome journey at 6:30 pm. There are three options: horse riding, “Palkhi” and helicopter ride.

But the fourth option by walking is quite awesome. Out of 4 members,3 members chose walking while one preferred for horse ride.
Road was good .There were some steps in between and steep road was also there. In mean while journey we had some dance steps on Bhangada.

It was adventurous night. All facilities like food,rest room are available by 24/7 provided by Shirine board.
We reached the first destination at 9 pm having blessed at Ardhakumari. This place is 4-5 km from base. We had some food and we departed for next journey.
Road was awesome. There were two paths from Ardhakumari. There was a bit less crowd on the path that we had taken.
We reached our final destination at 1 am. This is 14 km from base.
We were blessed with Mata Vaishno Devi and after blessing we felt some divine energy. That night was quite beautiful.
We got one special coin as a gift by Shirin Board which has the picture of Mata Vaishno Devi. At 3 am,we had dinner. Then we left for Bhairavnath. The temple is awesome and black dolls were there. There were black chains,Trishul. We ventured our return journey at 4 am. There is a saying if you are not blessed with Bhairavnath,then Mata darshan is not completed.
One more member had taken horse ride and we departed towards the base.
At sunrise,we had almost completed our half journey.The sunrise was breathtaking and we clicked some moments there.

The helicopter service usually starts at the sunrise. Return journey was quite easy. We reached at the base at 7 am. We took an auto and we came to our hotel. After taking rest and some shopping of dry fruits,Kesher and some winter clothes,we left at 4 pm.

On next day morning, we walked for some distance. In food they have variety of Chana and Paratha. I don’t like both for breakfast so I chose Maggie.

After breakfast we started our packing and left our hotel at 10 pm. Next day,we had lunch at noon at Punjabi dhaba on Jammu-Kashmir highway. We reached Pune at 7 pm by taking 4 hours flight.

Journey was good. Got some new experience, new connection with people and also got some lesson from group member.

Total cost of travel from Pune including flight was around 20-21 k (Except shopping ). It will be good having post paid Sim-card as Prepaid cards does not work there.

Exploring Hogenakkal water falls

I had heard of this beautiful waterfall in Hoganekkal,Tamilnadu.So we have decided to explore it on one fine Saturday.We started from Bangalore and it was a memorable bike trip.

The road was quite amazing with lots of trees. It has many curves. The blowing wind was making a sensational feeling.

We have left Bangalore at 7:20 am and reached Hogenakkal around 10:30 am.

The very first thing was to book a boat for 1 hour.

We sat in this boat and the awesome time started. The water was fresh. It was a wonderful sound due to rowing of boat.

There were 3-4 falls at this place. The boatman took us to each and every place. Down the waterfall, he moved the boat in circular fashion and it was just amazing feeling the fresh water and its roaring sound.

The surrounding rock was also a good view to watch.

Also there was an island like sandy place where you feel chilled sand beneath your foot.

You can take shower at this place. The food was excellent with rice and tasty sambar. Also this is an excellent place for fish lover.

On return journey,we explored one lake just near by.

That was time…It was time to say to goodbye to waterfall…
