According Treaty of Poona was known as Ahmednuggur.

Chand Bibi :
Chand Bibi (1550), was an Indian warrior. She ruling Bijapur (1580-90) and Ahmednagar (in current day Maharashtra) (1596-99).
Chand Bibi is best known for defending Ahmednagar against the Mughal forces of Emperor Akbar in 1595.
